Join Our Citizen Science Initiative: Help us monitoring cetaceans!

At Mar Ilimitado, we believe that everyone can play a vital role in advancing marine research and protecting our oceans. By participating in our Citizen Science program, you can help us study the population and health of whales and dolphins in our region.

Have you spotted a dolphin pod from the cliffs or encountered a whale during a boat trip? Your observations are invaluable! By sharing your photos or videos with us, you’re contributing to critical research that informs conservation efforts.

How It Works:

1. Spot It: Whether you’re on the shore, on a boat, or even kayaking, keep an eye out for whales and dolphins.

2. Capture It: Take clear photos or videos of the animals. If possible, note the date, time, and location of your sighting.

3. Share It: Use our Google Form link to upload your media and any additional details about your sighting.

Each submission helps us track migration patterns, identify individual animals, and better understand these magnificent creatures’ lives. By joining our Citizen Science program, you’re not just observing marine life—you’re becoming a part of its future.

Together, we can protect the ocean’s gentle giants.
