Provide as much information as possible:
– Exact location (if possible, provide GPS coordinates)
– Description of the animal
– Photographs (can be sent via WhatsApp)
The sooner the alert is given, the better. In the case of a dead stranding, sampling can be carried out more quickly and the information gathered will be more viable. In the case of a live stranding, the greater the likelihood of the animal’s recovery and survival.
